Amazing food, such great flavours, and an amazing price for the quality of the food. The staff were very friendly, and helped us choose our wine, again very good price. My favourite meal in Catania.

Wonderful lunch at Don Turriddu! I highly recommend eating there to everybody who loves fresh fish.Wonderful antipasti and a huge selection of various dishes, all based on the freshest fish and seafood.Huge portions. Both my husband and I are strong eaters, but for the first time for a long time we could not finish our plates...DELICIOUS FOOD and WONDERFUL AND FRIENDLY SERVICE BY THE OWNER FAMILY.I had dinner twice at the previous restaurant in 2006 - wonderful dinner experiences with Sicilian friends back then - and had to go back there now in 2024. I&#39;ve learnt from the family that the two brothers split the original reswonderful, fresh fish!!!

Extensive list of pizza from the &#39;classics&#39; to the more exotic and most things in between! The mixed fried antipasti platter was also very good plus the availability of a couple of local artiganale beers was certainly to our taste. My only slight criticism is that we very very close to the adjacent table to the extent that we had to physically move our table when they wanted to leave.

Very good food, (even if there was no attention to the quality of  the bread) and the service was approximated.

Service was excellent, chef was fabulous food was excellent and all from Sicily, lovely wine list. The aubergine and the tuna dishes were extremely delicious. I would have liked a little less fermented dressings, but I would go back.

We had an excellent dinner, with everthing at superlative - food, wine, service. The restaurant was fully ocupied by 8,30 and it was mainly by locals, but however, the staff speaks English and they are all very nice, funny and helpful. Food is amazingand they also recommended us an excellent red wine - all within a very decent price. If you try to find a good spot in Catania, you should try this one!

Hidden in a small side street off via Umberto I it is a wonderful family restaurant. The staff is very friendly and efficient, the food is wonderful, flavorful and super fresh (I recommend the seafood antipasti and pasta) and the wine list is short but well-chosen with nice local wines at very reasonable prices. Among the desserts the chocolate cake is amazing. The music was just a bit too loud. But all in all, a wonderful relaxing gastronomical experience !

After a long day we were looking for a relaxed dinner as a family. The restaurant could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious, we shared various different plates and loved all of them. The restaurant is family owned and it shows, full of pride with the father and his daughter, son and son in law being front of house and mother preparing delicious meals in the kitchen. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a fantastic 7 course tasting menu for dinner on a beautiful Monday evening in September at Concezione, which we found worthy of 1 Michelin star! We can only praise the team for their delicious offerings with some daring ingredients (horse, goat, &hellip;), which all tasted great. The dishes ranged from creative (but still to be optimized, e.g. the sardine dish with black &lsquo;ash&rsquo;, which was a tad too bitter for our liking) to exceptional (goat dumpling, ravioli). The bread offerings and sweets were very generous and of excellent quality.The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, the wines were delicious, and the restaurant itself was decorated beautifully. It was a nice touch that Chef also visited our table. We would definitely recommend Concezione Restaurant to lovers of good food!

Nice restaurant in Catania. The &quot;bresaola&quot; was very good, and the dessert fair. The waitress is kind and professional, and I ordered a little too much. The bill is a little higher than expected in Catania out of centre. Ok location.
